Is there a place online that I can read about or look at homes UMRA manages?  I have a special needs adult son.  We are planning for the future and where he would like to live.  Please let me know who to contact or where to go for more information.

We are in Birmingham, AL.

I am very fortunate and blessed to be a team player for UMRA.  I have seen first hand the love, assistance, and support that is given freely to the people that reside there.  Working with this company helps me to open myself in loving ways that can't be expressed in any other job force.  I am proud to be part of the family.

Subject:  We have a program for your clients

I am not sure how to do this but I want to let people know that we have started a get together for disabled youth and adults in Decatur Alabama. Every second Sunday night at 5:30-8:30pm we have a program for the disabled at Calvary Church. We have crafts, games, we service dinned and have singing and an inspirational teaching. It gives a time for parents to get away and have some rest. Plus, it offers fun for the teens and adults. . There is a great need to minister to this target group. Most do not attend church and can’t get there. The Caregivers of the group get very little help with their teen or disabled adult. We also have an deaf interpreter who is their if anyone deaf would like to volunteer or if the deaf come we have one.

Thanks

Do the residents of the homes located in Decatur participate in anty of the church activities? Such as attend worship services or invited to attend any of the church's social activities. Thanks for your response.

Subject:  Special Needs Rodeo
The Limestone County Sheriffs's Rodeo will be held on May 16. UMRA will be take several of our clients to this fun filled day. They will participate in many activities and will have the chance to do things they may not do on a regular basis. One of the things they look forward to is trying to get in front of the camera so they can get on TV!
